Professional Experience

Emily Palmer joined Willamette Legacy Law in 2024. She previously served as a law clerk then associate attorney at Stahancyk, Kent & Hook, shortly after she received her Juris Doctor from Willamette University College of Law. During her last year of law school, Emily participated in Willamette University’s Trusts and Estates Clinic, where she managed her own estate planning and probate clients. Emily’s time in the Clinic not only gave her the invaluable opportunity to work closely with clients to meet their needs, but it also solidified her passion for estate planning.

Professional Activities

Emily is a member of the Oregon State Bar and a member of Wealth Counsel.

Community Involvement

While she was an undergraduate student at Lawrence University, Emily ran its Women’s Ice Hockey club. After she relocated to Oregon, Emily served as Treasurer on her neighborhood’s Neighborhood Association Board.

Interests

Emily loves to go to the beach with her partner and their three dogs as often possible to look for neat rocks and beach critters. When a trip to the coast is not possible, Emily likes to read, collage, and relax with her family. Emily skates with and volunteers with Cherry City Roller Derby.
